Hill and Dale Series 2024
Note: No payment on night this year – all entries via SiEntries. Please read all instructions.
To take part in the 2024 H&D Series you must be registered with SiEntries. You will be issued with a number for the series.Your race number can be collected at your first race and the retained for the 2024 series. Your age category is based on your age on 31 December 2024 .
Slieve Donard race is stand alone with new race numbers.
Please Do Not Fix numbers to shorts – Please attach to chest- Numbers on shorts are difficult to scan and very inconsiderate to person scanning – Persistent offenders will be disqualified.
H&D 2024 Series Prizes
- Complete series by finishing 6 Races H&D branded series prize
- Cash prize for first 10 Males and Female runners overall
- Perpetual Trophy for first male and female overall
- Cash Prize for each Veteran age category winner and Perpetual Trophy. Age category winners finishing in first 10 will receive overall cash prize, 2nd placed aged category will receive age category prize. (Top 10 prizes greater or equal to category prize)

- All runners completing 10 races entered into draw for a refund of their for 2024 entry fee.

Routes planned on Komoot are subject to change, in particular forests. Mountains are straight lines between fixed points, actual distances may be further.
Safety Rules
- Safety equipment required for the race: compass, whistle, waterproof full body cover comprising of jacket (with hood and taped seams) and trousers, hat and gloves. Click Here to view the Fell Running Association rules. Any updates to the mandatory kit will be communicated at race registration.
- Competitors not carrying the safety equipment will not be permitted to start. Non-compliance with safety equipment rules will result in disqualification from the race.
- Runners take primary responsibility for their own safety, health and wellbeing in the mountains.
- No headphones or earpieces of any description are allowed for safety reasons.
- No running/trekking poles permitted.
- No running with dogs
- Reasonable fitness levels needed – cut off times will apply at the discretion of the organisers. Runners are to comply with instructions issued by race organisers and marshals on the course. If a runner does not follow instructions this will result in disqualification from the race.
- All efforts should be made by runners to park safely, respect the environment, and leave no trace, take your rubbish with you.
- All runners must have a race number, register at the start and report to the finish, to ensure all competitors are accounted for, non-compliance will result in a ban.
- Do not run with someone elses number
- Please bring own pins.
- Do not pin numbers on shorts – pin to vest to allow easy barcode scanning
