We are having a club Parkrun outing to Comber on Saturday 16 July 2016. Parkruns are free and you simply need to register online at parkrun.org.uk and print off your barcode. You must present a barcode or you will not get a time. Parkruns are free timed 5k events which start at 21 different locations throughout NI every Saturday morning at 9:30am. They are timed runs as opposed to races, so it is you against yourself and the clock. Yesterday 40+ Orangegrove AC runners turned up at Falls Park and it looked spectacular. This is also an event where our junior members could come along and participate with senior members. As a general rule those of us who are regular Parkrun participants do not wear our club vests, but on this occasion I would ask everyone going to run in club colours.
