Newcastle Athletics Club recently hosted their Hill and Dale race in Donard Forest as a tribute run in celebration of the life of their friend and avid runner Denis Rankin who died suddenly in May. Runners generously donated £2,090 to Simon Community NI, the leading Homelessness organisation in NI.

Newcastle Athletics Club, who organised the event is a not for profit club and all races are organised by members and friends who give their time on a purely voluntary basis.
