Podium Success at the Ben and NI Road Relays

The club demonstrated its strength and versatility, achieving success across a variety of terrains on Saturday 7 September.

Ben Nevis Race

At the iconic Ben Nevis Race, held on the hottest day of the year, two club members braved the punishing conditions. Tom Crudgington, has been going from strength to strength, made history by securing 2nd place in 1:54:25, the highest placing by an Irish male in the race’s history. David Hicks also delivered a solid performance, finishing in 2:30:41, both athletes showing great perseverance despite the heat

NI Road Relays

On the roads, the club excelled at the NI Road Relays, finishing 2nd in the mixed category with strong contributions from Joanne Mills, Kerry O’Flaherty, Simon Hodge, and Patrick McNiff.

IMRA Foxes Rock

Meanwhile, on the mountain, Pearse Brogan put in a strong top-10 finish at the Foxes Rock IMRA race in Carlingford, which was part of the Leinster Championship, further showcasing the breadth of the club’s talents.
