I have registered a number of teams for the various events on Saturday.
In typical Newcastle AC fashion some were fastidious in forwarding details, while others were more tardy in their approach. I have registered more than needed and included reserves among the teams to make sure we can accommodate all who are keen to run. There are even some names included who have no intention of running. Can I ask the first person named on each team to take responsibility for ensuring that they have a team on the day. The club has spent £350 on entries and it is now up to us to respect that investment by turning up. There will be no places reserved for ‘maybes’ on the team bus!!! Runners 4-6 on the female are ‘reserves’ and runners 5-8 on the male teams are reserves. If you are not mentioned here and are keen to run, please come along and we will do all we can to get you a place.
