Racing ahead!
Looking ahead the third round of the Cross Country season in on Saturday 7th November with the McConnell Shield at Ballyclare. With Newcastle putting in a big shift in round two, confidence is high that at least 16 will take the line in an attempt to regain first place in the team competition.
This is followed by the ever-popular Dolly’s Brae 7 Mile Road and Trail Race on Sunday 8th November at 2pm. The course starts and finishes at the Dolly’s Brae Inn, Ballyward and takes in a full lap of Castlewellan Lake. There will also be a 3 mile sponsored walk and all proceeds from both events are in aid of the Northern Ireland Heartbeat Trust. Please come along and support this great event.
