The Ballot entry system for the 2016 Virgin London Marathon opens on Monday 4 May. Newcastle AC operates a system whereby members applying for a club entry are given priority if they have been unsuccessful in applying through the ballot system. Members who qualify for a Championship or a Good for Age place are not eligible for a club entry.

Tuesday’s session is a 5 mile time trial in Tollymore. Warm up at 6:30 with a 6:50 start.

A number of members are taking part in the Les Jones 10k on Friday 15 May. Registration is open online through the ANI website. We are arranging some car pooling and a social event after in Belfast. The race starts and finishes at the Mary Peter’s Track at 7pm.
