  1. Final numbers for the club Christmas Dinner on 16 November have to be confirmed this Friday, 24 November. Online booking will close at 6pm on Friday 24 November and additional bookings will not be possible as any remaining places will be reallocated by O’Hare’s to those on their waiting list. There are currently 48 members availing of the discounted price of £10.
  2. Entries for the Christmas Cracker are fast approaching 500 – please avoid disappointment by making sure that you have completed the online registration. Please consider how you might help out with the organisation of the event.
  3. The annual club 5 mile handicap will be on Tuesday 12 December, followed by festive refreshments in BASE. To enable handicaps to be assigned, please declare you intention to run with Jerome or Joe at any of the Tuesday sessions before the race.
  4. Club places for the London Marathon 2018 have been applied for. You will recall that your committee amended the eligibility criteria. Those wishing to be considered for the club ballot will need to complete the proforma showing how they meet the criteria. This form will be available to download from the club website in advance of the draw. The applications will be considered by the committee and the draw will take place in the Newcastle on the first Tuesday after the application date has been set by the committee.
