Session this week is 5 x 1 mile and will be the course that the 5 mile club handicap will follow on 13 December. Start at Elim Church on Downs Road. Mile 1 marker at new bridge on promenade. Mile 2 marker just before the entrance to Greenhill Park in Tullybrannigan. Mile 3 marker just past the roundabout on the town side of Bryansford Avenue. Mile 4 marker just before traffic lights on Bryansford Avenue. Mile 5 marker just before the Burrendale Hotel. All miles have been clearly marked. The course is one we have been using for the last year (see map) and avoids dangerous junctions insofar as is possible. Please ensure that you are suitably dressed in reflective clothing and that you take due caution when running in areas where traffic presents a challenge.
